Benefits sweating while running

Sweating is a huge part of exercising. However, it's also a big part of your life regardless of how much or how little time you put in at the gym. That's because your body needs to sweat everyday in order to do a number of things. Sweat actually accounts for about 10 percent of the water that your body loses on any given day. In order to understand why your body needs to sweat, though, you need to be aware of the affects that it has on your body.
How Sweating Affects Your Body

If you try your best not to sweat, there are plenty of good reasons that you should allow your body to sweat whenever it needs to:

1) Sweating is a great way for you to maintain clean, healthy skin. Your skin is filled with pores that gather dirt and toxins. In order to get both of them out of your system, you need to sweat. Sweat does not actually have an odor--rather, your hair and skin follicles can provide a bad order if your skin and hair are not clean. Sweat is made up of about 95 percent water, so you will not smell simply because you are sweating. Your skin is also your single largest organ, so you need to sweat in order to keep it active.

2) Sweating is used to keep your body from overheating. When your body temperature becomes too high, you will begin to sweat in order to keep your temperature down. You need to let your body do this in order to avoid heat exhaustion, heat stroke or overheating that causes dizziness and weakness.

3) You need to sweat in order to keep yourself healthy. Often times, your body will raise its internal temperature when you are sick to help your body return to its normal state.
How to Promote Sweating in Your Body

Sweating can do a lot of great things for your body, but in order to do it your body needs a good plenty of water. You cannot be dehydrated and expect your body to produce sweat. As a result, your body temperature may rise significantly if you do not take in enough water. You can promote sweating by drinking enough water daily. You can also cause your body to do it even more by working out regularly or hitting the spa or sauna on a regular basis. Sweating is so important that a single session at the spa can help you burn up to 300 calories! This is because sweating helps you lose weight by burning calories more quickly.

Now that you understand the relationship that exists between sweating and the effects it has on your body, you should find ways to use it to your advantage. Keep your skin looking good, burn fat and even prevent yourself from getting sick by sweating more often. It's a great way to take care of yourself and cleanse your body of dangerous toxins.
